Media Specialist, Terra Conservation Initiative | Explore Ambassador

Ms. Chivvis is an Ambassador and the Creative Director for Terra Sustainable Technologies’ Global Conservation Initiative, as well as the Co-Founder, Owner, Writer, Director and Producer of Wild Life Productions where she is responsible for crafting each story told by Wild Life Productions.  Ms. Chivvis received her MFA in Film and Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts where she was mentored by Robert Zemeckis.  In 2010 she was selected as an “upcoming director” by Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for her narrative short film “Dance With Me”.

Ms. Chivvis is particularly skilled at devising and executing the look and feel for each project with attention to detail and subtlety.  Over her 15 years with WLP, she has gained extensive experience managing creative

teams, working with scientists and historians, museums and non-profits as well and directing crews and actors both on-location and on set in both non-fiction and narrative settings.  In addition, she is a versatile writer accustomed to tailoring the writing on projects to the client’s needs. She has written all the aforementioned shows and projects, continues to write narrative screenplays for film and television, and is an experienced professional photographer specializing in documentary, fine-art, and portraits. Ms. Chivvis also holds a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in International Relations and French with a minor in Italian.  She has studied international economics at Sciences Politiques in Paris and photography at the Spéos Institute of Photography in Paris and at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico.
